Flashback: rewind to 1920 when MoMA PS1 (then a schoolhouse) still sported its original clock tower. The great stone Clock tower was razed and the bronze bell destroyed in April 1964.

Olivier Grossetete - Pont de Singe (2012)

Pont de Singe reflects the architecture of Tatton’s Japanese Garden as well as the flight of fancy of the Formal Gardens as a whole. The installation is a folly of design and engineering: a featherweight bridge designed for contemplation rather than function, emanating from and leading to the water, held aloft by three helium-filled balloons, recalling the power of daydreams and their ability to transform reality.”
